Palm Beach Global Yachts

Palm Beach Global Yachts is a new company in the heart of Palm Beach, Florida right next to the famous Worth Avenue. Her principals are not, however, new to this industry.  Bill Sanderson has been yachting since the age of 8.  Starting in small sailboats on the Connecticut River in Essex, Connecticut, Bill progressed to larger sailing yachts on Long Island Sound. 

Upon graduating from college in 1970, he spent the next five years sailing/racing around the world. Finally, after a very successful Sydney Hobart race in early 1975, he decided to “retire” from racing and became a trainee yacht broker in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Bill began working with Rachel while building 62’ sailing yachts on the west coast of Florida in 1984. After working for several major companies, Bill has now set up his own company. Bill and Rachel have formed a complimentary team offering full service to their clients in the yachting industry, from sales to charter, management and crew placement.

Rachel’s strong management and organizational skills, makes it possible for Bill to travel the world closing many successful deals for super yachts, both large sailing yachts and motor yacht. He represents buyers and sellers.  Bill’s unique sailing background allows him firsthand knowledge of sailing yachts.  Years of experience also gives him extensive knowledge of all aspects of the wide range of motor yachts so that he and Rachel can guide their client’s yachting buying or selling decisions (not an easy learning curve.) They lead their clients, many who have become friends, to the right situation regardless of their needs.
